Abstract

Digital healthcare has evolved rapidly over the past decade, reshaping how care is delivered, financed, and governed. This paper provides a global review of digital healthcare evolution, examining technological trends, business models, and policy responses across high-, middle-, and low-income settings. Drawing on academic literature and international case examples, the study analyzes how digital platforms, artificial intelligence, and data-driven ecosystems create new value streams while introducing governance and ethical challenges. The paper highlights implications for business and policy leaders, emphasizing the need for strategic alignment, interoperability, and responsible innovation. The findings suggest that digital healthcare success depends on balancing innovation with trust, equity, and regulatory coherence.
