Abstract

Pakistan Cardiac Society is one of the oldest and most prestigious professional societies of Pakistan. Through continuous hard work of the dedicated members itis carving a new niche for herself. There has been a steady increase in number of members and newer initiatives have been taken by those at the helm of affairs to make the society more vibrant and relevant in combating the ever growing newer challenges.Proactive efforts are required to inculcate the culture of research at all levels and formulate a research agenda for Pakistan. We wish to foster exchange of information among clinicians, researchers and health care professionals. The eventual goal is totranslate the research and scientific advances into patient benefit. Journal reflects what you submit and the quality can onlyimprove if we all work harder and contribute more.
